Visit us any Wednesday through March and your admission price will be waived* when you pay a $1 per person conservation contribution! Come on in and see what our birds are up to!
*$1 per person conservation contribution applies on Winter Wednesdays, which goes to support various conservation efforts in Utah as well as other parts of the Western Flyway.

Free Scout Day — Saturday, February 25
Scout admissions are generously provided for by the Castle Foundation.
Tracy Aviary Salutes! Please join us February 25th, 2012 from 9:00am to 5:00pm, as we celebrate the wonderful Scouting organizations. We will be honoring scouts by having free admittance for anyone wearing a scout uniform, special bird encounters, Eagle Scout Project Recognition and more! Please find the schedule of activities below:
9:30am: Keeper talk – Eagles exhibit
10:00am: Desert Avian Web (lasts 1-hour. activity is free, but tickets required, inquire in the Gift Shop) In Education Center
11:30am: Eggsmasher demonstration-Bird show Theater (inside Education Center if bad weather)
12:00pm (as supplies last): Girl scout cookies and juice, served from the Chase Mill
1:30pm: Keeper talk- Southern Ground Hornbill exhibit
2:00pm: Desert Avian Web (lasts 1-hour. activity is free, but tickets required, inquire in the Gift Shop) In Education Center
2:30pm: Keeper talk- Keel-billed Toucan exhibit
3:30pm: Eggsmasher demonstration-Bird show Theater (inside Education Center if bad weather)
Spring Wing Fling — Saturday, March 24: 10am to 2pm
Sing….it’s Spring! Tracy Aviary & Imagination Place are excited and ready for spring. Join us March 24th from 10am – 2pm as we celebrate the arrival of budding flowers, warmer weather and outdoor entertainment with the songs of spring and a feather-full of fun! 10am to 2pm: Craft Corner – Chase Mill Main Floor
10am to 2pm: Face painting – Chase Mill Main Floor: FREE for members, $2 for non-members
10:15am: Pelican Encounter– Pelican Pond. Purchase $3 ticket in advance
11:15am to 12pm: Imagination Place’s “Sing with the Birds” – Education Center
11:45pm: Amazon Adventure– Sun Conure Exhibit. Purchase $3 ticket in advance
12pm to 1pm: Great Migration Game – South American Pavilion
1:15pm to 2pm: Imagination Place’s “Sing with the Birds” – Education Center

Party for the Planet— Saturday, April 21: 11am to 3pm
Join us Saturday, April 21st from 11am to 3pm because Mother Earth deserves a party and Tracy Aviary knows how to make it wild! Learn how to care for and enjoy our planet through exciting hands-on activities and amazing bird encounters at this fun and educational celebration that other AZA-accredited zoos are taking part in. All activities are weather-permitting and are subject to change. Please check back for cancelations if bad weather is forecasted.

Earth Day offers up activities and events for everyone, but to get the most out of your experience it’s important to choose an issue that means something on a personal level and do what you can to help out.
