Love Utah Give Utah

March 26th


Share the LOVE with your favorite birds and Tracy Aviary on Thursday, March 26th during Love UT Give UT, a state-wide, online day of giving!

–> $1.00 Admission to Tracy Aviary all day!
–> 12:00 – 2:00 pm Partners Picnic in the Entrance Plaza with special guests TreeUtahSalt Lake CAP Head Start, and Utah Open Lands
–> 7:00 pm Play Reading: Animals out of Paper, in the Chase Mill, presented by PYGmalion Theatre Company

Dedicate your donation to your favorite Tracy Aviary bird and you’ll be entered to win a special Behind-the-Scenes encounter with the bird of your choice! All donations of $25 or more will be thanked with 2 free admission passes to Tracy Aviary, donations of $50 or more will be acknowledged with a personalized bird-thank-you, donations of $100 or more will be thanked with an invitation to a special Tracy Aviary VIP event!

Spring Wing Fling

Celebrate National Sing with your Child Month with Tracy Aviary, in partnership with Imagination Place’s Music Together program. Sing songs about birds and meet our Bird Show Stars with every song! Enjoy springtime crafts and activities and celebrate the coming of Spring with us!

Volunteer Educator Training Course

March 28th, April 4th, April 11th, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

You already love looking at and learning about the birds, why not volunteer here as well?

Join us for our 2015 Tracy Aviary Volunteer Educator Training Course! This three-class series of four-hour workshops is completely FREE and will provide you with the skills needed to interpret the incredible lives of Tracy Aviary exhibit birds, and share with guests the splendor of our natural world.

Participation in the full three-class series is a mandatory prerequisite to becoming a Tracy Aviary certified volunteer educator, and to serve as an interpreter at Tracy Aviary. Participants will receive a certificate of course completion. Participants must attend all three classes to complete course.



Spring Break Camps

March 30th through April 3rd

Fly on over to Tracy Aviary for Spring Break Camps! Each camp welcomes children in 1st through 4th grade and runs one full day from 9am to 4pm.

The camps explore different ecological themes through crafts, games and activities, providing your child with an exciting day investigating birds and the natural world.

Since each day is different, feel free to choose the topics that appeal to your child’s interests, or come for the whole week! Our Spring Break camps are sure to engage, entertain and educate your child.

Paint Party: Lovebirds

April 2nd, 7:00 – 9:00 pm

Adult 21+ Event
A beautiful night at Tracy Aviary with adult drinks and painting!

Fundraiser: 20% of your ticket price will go towards Conservation!

NO PAINTING EXPERIENCE/TALENT NEEDED! We will walk you step by step through painting your very own love birds! It’s all in good fun!

Each ticket includes: All painting materials needed, 12X16 canvas to take home, same day admission to Tracy Aviary to walk the grounds between 9:00am-5:00pm.

Party for the Planet

April 18th

Mother Earth deserves a party and Tracy Aviary knows how to make it wild! To commemorate both Earth Day and Arbor Day, Tracy Aviary hosts this fun and educational celebration. Join us to learn how to care for and enjoy our planet through exciting hands-on activities, amazing bird encounters, and insightful demonstrations. We’ll see you there!



Avian Adventure Summer Camps

Tracy Aviary’s Avian Adventure Summer Camps are here!  Register now!

These camps are open to children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, and run in half-day, week-long sessions in both the morning and afternoon to allow you to customize your camper’s experience.  These camps are all just as educational as they are fun and exciting, enabling your camper to explore and play in the company of their favorite birds and engage in their own personal interests. From art to experiments to zoo keeping, we are sure your child will find something they love!
