International Vulture Awareness Day — September 7, 2013
Venture into the world of vultures at this internationally celebrated event spent in the company of some of nature’s ultimate recyclers. Meet Tracy Aviary’s resident vultures up close and participate in a variety of crafts and activities based on these misunderstood carrion connoisseurs. Just by visiting Tracy Aviary on September 7, you will be helping to support conservation of this most threatened group of birds; $1 from every admission, as well as 10% of all gift shop sales, on this day will be donated to the California Condor Recovery Program.
