Planned Giving

Manyfriends choose to contribute to the Tracy Aviary by remembering it in their will or estate plan. These planned gifts can effectively provide for educational programs, capital projects, and general operating costs.

Donors may benefit from planned gifts by receiving tax benefits including reduction in income tax, capital gain tax, or estate tax. Planned gifts can be made in many ways. Below are some examples of different types of planned gifts:

Bequests

A bequest if a gift included and named in a will or a trust.

IRA or Retirement Plan

Name the Tracy Aviary as a full or partial beneficiary of an IRA, 401K, certificate of deposit, or savings account.

Life Insurance

Name the Tracy Aviary as a beneficiary on an insurance policy.
