Camp Menu

Tweet n’ Shout, Monday March 30, 9am-4pm- FULL

Sing, squawk, caw, and tweet your heart out in a camp all about birds and the phenomenal noises they make. Because birds are some of the best vocalists around, we will take their lead as we learn bird songs, make musical instruments, and discover how birds make themselves heard during one of the busiest and noisiest of seasons—spring!

Fowl Food Fiesta, Tuesday March 31, 9am-4pm- FULL

Worms and berries and algae—oh my! Come to Tracy Aviary to find out what it’s really like to eat like a bird. Whether it’s a meaty meal or a fruity feast, we will uncover all the mysteries of how birds get their food and what exactly it is they’re eating. Be prepared to test your bird food-finding skills and your taste buds with games, crafts, and kid-friendly snacks that are beak-lickin’ good.

Take Wing Into Spring, Wednesday April 1, 9am-4pm- FULL

Take flight on a migratory journey with Tracy Aviary, just like the millions of birds that visit Utah each year! Campers will explore the thousand-mile journeys of birds that travel between North and South America, what dangers and surprises await birds during their travels, and why birds make the trip every year.

Fantastic Fledglings and Delightful Displays, Thursday April 2, 9am-4pm- FULL

Dancing, constructing, flying, and creating families— spring is a busy time for birds. In this day-long camp we will get busy right along with them, exploring the secret journeys birds take to impress, create, protect, and travel with their partners and chicks! Campers will invent their own bird-like dances, build nests, and design their own wings to help them soar through a day of discovery and fun at Tracy Aviary.

Native Neighbors, Friday April 3, 9am-4pm

Spring is a time for new beginnings, from bright blossoms to chirping chicks. Come learn how to attract new friends to your backyard and how to tell what they are once you see them! In this camp we will make bird feeders, play exciting games, and discover birds at Tracy Aviary that are Utah natives.  With your help, your favorite feathered neighbors will get back into the spring swing of things after a long winter.
