McGillis School Partner Camp
Fantastic Flying Machines
The McGillis School and Tracy Aviary are offering an exciting camp that combines classroom instruction and hands-on projects. Using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) activities, students will understand the basics of flight including fluid mechanics, laws of motion, and control of flight as well as adaptations of birds, toxins in ecosystems, bird habitats, and their environment. Students will learn theory, design, and construction, and they will explore the world of birds at the Tracy Aviary and surrounding areas.
Grades 6-8:July 16-20
Cost: $225.00 per week
Additional Camp Information
- This camp is open to McGillis students and students from outside of our community
- 16 students total
- All classes will be taught at Tracy Aviary by McGillis faculty
