1:00 PM Bird Show
Tracy Aviary brings to you another edition of Tracy Aviary Investigates. This program will investigate into the lives of an elite class of avian superheroes, known simply as the "Aviators". These "superheroes" will show off their powers daily at the 1:00 PM bird show in the bird show theatre. This program features 14 of our bird show stars, some who will fly just inches over the audiences' heads.
11:00 AM and 3:00 PM Bird Program
These short 15-minute programs will feature three of our bird show stars. These informational programs will focus on one of these topics: Rainforest birds, Birds of Prey, and Scavengers. The topics and featured birds will rotate on a daily basis, so you are sure to see something different. These programs incorporate both trained birds and biofacts to achieve a greater appreciation of our feathered friends.
Amazon Adventure
Daily at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30 & 2:30
A delightful, intimate experience with some of the Amazon Basin's most adventurous and engaging flyers, the Sun Conure feeding experience is sure to be a sell-out Summer hit. Take advantage of this nose-to-beak encounter today!
Cuckoo Corner
10:00 & 12:00 Daily
Our brand new Cuckoo Corner is a chance for guests to interact closely with a trained flock of Guira Cuckoos. Visitors will have the opportunity to assist the trainers in teaching the birds to do a variety of behaviors. Currently the birds are station trained and guests provide the reward (food!) to the birds when they remain on their assigned station. Stay on your toes, because these clever birds will try to outsmart you! This exhibit is a true immersion into training techniques used by the best zoos in the country.
The Pelican Encounter
2:00 PM Daily
Daily at 2:00pm guests will be able to enjoy Pelican Encounters at Tracy Aviary. Stand side by side with a keeper and feed our flock of magnificent pelicans for just $3!
Avian Alcove
10:00, 12:00, 2:00 & 4:00 Daily
Indoor kids activity space opens with scheduled crafts, games and story times for all ages. Daily at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
