Tracy Aviary Fall Break Camps

October 15 & 16, 2015

Single, Full-day Camps Available

Have a hoot with us this fall during our Tracy Aviary Fall Break Camps! Each camp welcomes children in 1st through 4th grade and runs one full day from 9 am to 4 pm. Our camps explore different autumnal themes through crafts, games, and up-close, personal experiences with Tracy Aviary's most charismatic birds

Camp Menu

Cunning Corvids - October 15, 9am-4pm

You might not recognize the faces of the crows in your neighborhood, but they recognize yours! Explore this and so much more as we get to know the brainiest of birds: crows, ravens, and magpies. We'll discover corvid history, test our skills against those of crows, and of course, meet some of Tracy Aviary's most brilliant birds.

A Migration Vacation - October 16, 9am-4pm

As the days get shorter, some of our native Great Salt Lake birds decide to take an international trip—a migration vacation! We will explore why wetlands are so important to migratory birds, go on a migration of our own, and best of all meet some of our migrators friends up close and personal.
