Tracy Aviary Fall Break Camps

Have a hoot with us this fall during our full day Tracy Aviary Fall Break Camps! Each camp welcomes children in 1st through 4th grade and runs one full day from 9 am to 4 pm. Our camps explore different autumnal themes through crafts, games and up-close, personal experiences with Tracy Aviary’s most charismatic birds, providing your child with an exciting day investigating birds and the natural world. Since each day is different, you are free to choose the camps that appeal to you and your child’s interests. Our Fall Break Camps are sure to engage, entertain and educate your child.

Camp Menu

Bird Boot Camp, Thursday October 16, 9am-4pm (FULL)

When the going gets tough, the tough… stay right here in Utah! While some birds are busy migrating to warmer weather, others are preparing for the cold, hard winter right in our backyards. In this camp, campers will learn the tricks and tools of birds who stick around even when it’s snowing and how we can help the birds who enjoy winter right alongside us.


Care of Magical Avian Creatures, Friday October 17, 9am-4pm (FULL)

When it comes to enchanting creatures, birds are some of the best around! Join us in camp to learn about some of the world’s most impressive magical and mystical birds… and how to take care of them! From phoenixes to rocs, scarecrows to wizards’ owls, every camper will find a creature and its real-life bird counterpart to fall in love with..

Members $55

Non-members $60

Additional limited edition 2014 camp shirts $10 each.

Before Care (8am-9am) $5

After Care (4pm-5pm) $5

Registering for Fall Break Camp

  • Registration fees include AM and PM snack, camp materials, and one 2014 camp shirt.
  • Space is limited to 15 participants per camp.
  • Child must be currently enrolled in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade.
  • After registering, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of camp safety and legal forms. Completed forms must be provided to Tracy Aviary on the first day of camp.

Our Fall Break Camps are now full!
Please return the first week of January to register for our Spring Break camps, March 30-April 3

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

If not enrolled in Before Care, children must be dropped off between 8:45am and 9:00am. At no time may any child be left unattended. Lunch hour from 12pm-1pm is staff monitored and campers do not need to be picked up during this time. If not enrolled in After Care, children must be picked up promptly at 4pm.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that your child cannot attend the camp he/she is registered for…

  • If at least 21 business days notice prior to camp start date is provided, 100% refund of registration fees
  • If at least 14 business days notice, but less than 21 business days notice prior to camp start date is provided, 75% refund of registration fees
  • If cancelled 14 business days or less before the start date of camp, no refund of registration fees
  • If Tracy Aviary must cancel a camp, registrants will be notified no less than the Monday before the day of camp and will be granted either a full refund or the option to enroll in future camps.

Camp Before and After Care

Campers enrolled in these programs will spend an hour at the beginning/end of each camp day under the supervision of our camp staff, providing parents with additional pick-up/drop-off flexibility. Before Care campers must be dropped off promptly at 8:00am. After Care campers must be picked up promptly at 5:00pm.

Before/After Care sessions are available in single-day of $5 each.

Before Care: 8:00am-9:00am

After Care: 4:00pm-5:00pm

Lunch and Snacks

Campers will enjoy a supervised lunch break between 12pm and 1pm. Campers must bring their own lunch. An AM and PM snack is provided. Dietary restrictions are observed, however for campers with extensive food allergies, bringing a snack is suggested.

Tracy Aviary takes the physical and emotional well-being of its campers very seriously, and strives to create a positive, warm, and supportive atmosphere in all of its programs. Our camps are strict No Bullying zones and place a strong emphasis on developing healthy relationships with people, animals, and the natural world.
