There is no end to the eye-opening and educational experiences you, your family, your friends or your group can have at Tracy Aviary. We are open every day of the year, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
We offer year-round exhibits, bird shows and educational experiences for all ages. Use the links below or visit our Activities Calendar to guide you to information that will help you plan your next visit.

Free-Flight Encounters Free with admission
Whether you’re a spring chicken or a wise old owl, Tracy Aviary provides plenty to marvel at during our daily free-flight bird encounters. These experiences are led by Aviary Trainers and feature a rotation of bird species to allow you to discover something new every time you visit. Tracy Aviary offers both scheduled and unscheduled encounters with our avian ambassadors. Our encounters are informal and allow you to get nose-to-beak with our Bird Show avian stars as well as to talk with their trainers.
Encounter Times: Daily 11:30am & 1:30pm.

Pelican Encounter – Purchase $3 Ticket in Advance
Add to your avian experience by tossing a fish into a Pelican’s gaping pouch! Encounter runs approximately 15 minutes. Maximum 10 people per feeding.
Times: Daily 10:15am & 2:15pm
Amazon Adventure - Purchase $3 Ticket in Advance
A delightfully intimate experience with some of the Amazon Basin’s most energetic and engaging flyers! Immerse yourself in brilliant colors to feed our flock of Sun Conures. Encounter runs approximately 15 minutes. Maximum 8 people per feeding.
Times: Daily 10:45am, 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, 12:45 pm, 1:15 pm, 1:45 pm, 3:00 pm, and 3:30 pm
