There is no end to the eye-opening and educational experiences you, your family, your friends or your group can have at Tracy Aviary. We are open every day of the year, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
We offer year-round exhibits, bird shows and educational experiences for all ages. Use the links below or visit our Activities Calendar to guide you to information that will help you plan your next visit.

Book & Bird
Join us each week in the Visitors Center Education Space for a special story time and come nose-to-beak meeting a feathered friend from the book.
Story Times: Every Wednesday at 10:30am
Indoor Bird Encounters
Marvel at the sight of a flighted bird experience with our trainers as they strut their stuff in this intimate experience.
Encounter Times: Daily 11:30am and 3:30pm

Get to know our feathered friends and friendly keepers even better at this close, intimate encounter. Questions are welcome!

Pelican Encounter – $3
Add to your avian experience by tossing a fish into a Pelican’s gaping pouch! Encounter runs approximately 15 minutes. Maximum 10 people per feeding.
Times: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 10:15 am 2:15 pm
Amazon Adventure – $3
A delightfully intimate experience with some of the Amazon Basin’s most energetic and engaging flyers! Encounter runs approximately 15 minutes. Maximum 8 people per feeding.
Times: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 11:45 am 1:45 pm 3:45pm
