Cub Scout Workshops

Wildlife Conservation Belt Loop and Academics Pin

Come join us on a wild adventure to learn how to protect wildlife and explore our natural world! Have close encounters with wildlife as we track them throughout the Aviary and discover their connections to each other and to us. Play hide and seek with birds that use camouflage to survive and meet some birds that do not. Check out wildlife conservation in action at Tracy Aviary as you learn about our endangered and threatened birds and special plans in place to protect them for our future.

Our certified Boy Scout instructors will guide your Cub Scouts toward meeting all the requirements for the Wildlife Conservation Belt Loop and Academics Pin. In addition, teaching valuable skills and knowledge such as: the dynamics of a food chain, the importance of environmental service, and how to be responsible caretakers of wildlife and the environment.
